About Diana

If Diana had a personal motto it would be “everything can be a treasure hunt if you try hard enough.” Growing up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Diana was fully trained in the art of the hunt by her mother who would drop all plans at the glimmer of an “Estate Sale Today” sign. Fortunately, this past time led to the ultimate treasure of finding an entire library of art and painting education books at an estate sale in 2009. That collection sent her in to a rabbit hole of learning about painting technique, color theories, and compositions that she hasn’t looked back from since. Working primarily in acrylics, Diana's paintings are built upon the use of multiple layers of colors, glazes and washes and thoughtful composition.

Diana resides in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina with her husband Gabe, and her three boys Dixon, Charles, and Henry. You can find her works at Montart Gallery in Houston, Gregg Irby Gallery in Atlanta, and Charleston Artist Collective in Mount Pleasant.
